Ryegrass - Oregon Gulf
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Gulf Annual Ryegrass has a germination time of 7-10 days and provides high yields of palatable, nutritious forage in pastures and grass hay mixes. Its long root system stands as a provider of soil organic matter and structure to hold its soil.
Gulf Annual Ryegrass is also used for erosion control, as a lawn mix component, and to capture nitrogen for the longevity of fields.
PLANTING DIRECTIONS:
Plant at 1/4″ depth. Gulf can be spring or early fall-seeded, frost-seeded, broadcast, or drilled.
Management: Like fertile soils, it will respond to liberal nitrogen applications.
