16% Multi-Species Textured Sweet Feed
For Lactating Dairy Cows, Beef Cattle On Pasture, Maintenance of Mature Horses and Finishing Goats Feeding Instructions: For Lactating Dairy Cows: Offer 16% Textured Sweet Feed at the general rate of 1.0 lb of feed per 2.5 to 3.0 lb of milk produced per head per day. Offer this product along with ample high-quality forage. Provide clean, fresh water at all times. Do not exceed 0.30 ppm supplemental selenium in the total ration. FOR BEEF CATTLE ON PASTURE: Offer 16% Textured Sweet Feed at the general rate of 0.25 to 0.50% of body weight daily along with free-choice, good-quality forage for the first 5 days. Over the next 14 to 17 days, cattle may be gradually increased to 2.00% of body weight daily along with good-quality forage. Always provide clean, fresh water. FOR MAINTENANCE OF MATURE HORSES: Offer 16% Textured Sweet Feed at the general rate of 0.50 to 1.25% of body weight daily depending on activity level and body condition, along with good-quality forage. Offer half of the daily feed in the morning and the other half in the evening. Make feed changes slowly. For un-acclimated horses, begin feeding at the rate of 0.25% of body weight daily, gradually increasing over approximately 10 days to previously recommended levels. Offer clean, fresh water at all times. FOR FINISHING GOATS: Offer 16% Textured Sweet Feed at the general rate of 1.00% of body weight daily along with good-quality forage. After acclimation, goats may be increased up to 2.00% of body weight daily along with good-quality forage. Offer clean, fresh water at all times.
