PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Ladino Clover is a perennial clover well adapted for the deep south. In addition to regrowth from stolons, Ladino is a good reseeding clover and starts growing early in the spring. It has excellent grazing tolerance and contains no cyanide. You will increase protein forage during the early spring dry season by overseeding horse and cattle pastures with Ladino Clover. It is also excellent for deer, turkey, and other wildlife in the deep south.

PLANTING RATES:

Drill 5 Lbs. Per Acre / 8 Lbs. Broad Cast

  • Germination Time: 7 – 14 days, under optimal conditions
  • Height: 8 – 12 inches 
  • Sunlight Requirements: 4 – 6 hours
  • Advantages: Especially responsive to cool, moist conditions due to shallow root system.
  • When to Plant: The recommended planting time is in the fall and spring, when nighttime temperatures are consistently between 50 and 65 degrees.
